Welcome to Mama’s Mission of the Month! My hope is that this will help me {and you} follow through on some of the goals that we have set for the month! So, if you are a mama and you want to join in, check out the intro post! (If you have already read the rules, you can easily grab the buttons from the Buttons Tab on the top of the sidebar.)

Mission of the Month

October Mission Update:  I made progress, but not as much as I had hoped! I was really sick for awhile this month, which derailed me quite a bit! But, thank you all for reminding me that it is okay for mom’s to take sick days! LOL!

Personal:

1. Continue Pursuit of Proverbs 31 Bible Study! I am loving this study, but I have put it on hold while I focus on B90!

Pursuit of Proverbs 31

B90: The Bible in 90 Days2. Stay on track with my B90 Bible reading plan. No, I am not on track, but I am amazed at how much I have read thus far! I have tweaked the reading plan a bit and I hope to share about it soon…in case you are also up for the B90 challenge!

Marriage:

3. Have two date nights. My husband’s schedule only allowed for us to have one date night out of the house, but we managed to have a few inside the house. That counts right?!?!  LOL!!

Parenting:

4. Make Give/Save/Spend pouches for the kids. Will share about this soon!

5. Finish reading Good and Angry:Exchanging Frustration for Character in you and your Kids.

Homeschooling:

6. Have the kids write the final copies of their thank you letters to the firefighters.

7. Finish making the Bible printables to coordinate with our curriculum.

8. Complete another African American history unit. We are still learning about Ruby Bridges! Once we are done I will share!

Homemaking:

9. Meal Planning…just do it! I have downloaded Simplified Dinners and I am looking forward to stocking my pantry and trying some of the recipes!

Ministry/Friendships/Extended Family:

10. Write 2 letters.

11. Update and add to my family/friend birthday list.

Blogging/Online Activity:

12. Continue to resurrect my other blogs.

13. Share the cards that I made to use along with the SHE Method.

14. Write a new workbox post showing how we have changed up our old workbox system.

Other:

15. Complete 10 scrapbook pages. I did three, which is huge progress from the last few months!

16. Frame and hang the kid’s artwork. They are framed, but still need to be hung!

Mission NOT Accomplished YET
